Project overview
TransNaija is a train booking app UI I designed from scratch as a personal practice project. My aim was to create a clean, intuitive, and modern interface that makes booking a train ticket feel effortless. I wanted the design to feel friendly, fast, and easy to navigate — the kind of app you enjoy using, not just tolerate.
From the landing screen to the final confirmation page, every detail was designed with mobile users in mind. I combined bold colors, simple layouts, and smooth user flows to make the booking process quick and enjoyable.
Project challenge, solution & result
Many train booking apps feel outdated, overloaded, or just plain frustrating to use. My challenge was to design something modern, attractive, and functional, where users can search, select, and confirm their trip in just a few clicks.
I noticed that most existing train apps are cluttered and slow, making it hard for users to quickly find and book their trips. The challenge was to simplify the booking process while keeping it visually engaging and easy to use.
